Full Overview:
Political turmoil and tension fills the air after ten years of
peace following the Great Retribution War, which was fought over the independence
of the colonies in Space known collectively as Expansions. Throughout the
final few bloody years, the fates of the two sides were controlled by a
simple neural gene known as the Messis Gene (M-Gene), which was required
by the pilot in order to operate a Mechanized Bipedal Infantry (Mech) at
standard levels alone much less combat-ready levels. Each side harvested
these men and women as if they were resources, for this was now their new
gold. Now, the Second Retribution War is upon the Earth Sphere as the radical
nations under the flag of LORCA (The Rebellion) invade and capture Earth
Spaceports in the name of righteousness. After political breakdowns, the
space nations under the Forum become entangled in the war between the Confederacy
(RANE) and the Rebels as well. The ability to change the outcome of the
war once again lies in the hands of the legendary pilots known from the
previous war as Harbingers. In addition, another big factor lies in new
and controversial revised high-performance mechs, known as Forerunners,
and as to whether they will usher in a new form of mechanized warfare as
regretfully intended by the first generation of mechs in the previous war.
